We all have those days when we are down on ourselves, when we have let the negative chatter run amuck, when we have allowed our negative voice to be our only voice. We are essentially in a cycle of self-abuse. I am here to remind you that we are all capable of breaking this cycle, we are all strong enough to stand up to our negative voice and tell it to “shut your mouth when you’re talking to me”.
Now, I am not saying to start verbally abusing yourself for letting the negative voices run the show, but I am asking us all to be more mindful about our thoughts and ask where they are coming from in the first place.
What if we make a shift and instead, we focus our minds on the positive, on all the things that bring us happiness/joy, and everything we are grateful for in this moment. It would be bad ass!
We would find ourselves less depressed, less stressed, less anxious, and in general we would experience an overall increased sense of happiness.
Cue your favorite yoga video, go for a walk, read a book, journal about this shift but most importantly be consistent and be loving.
